Jim has over 35 years of experience in healthcare organizations as an executive administrator and consultant. His areas of consulting expertise include interim management and turnaround assistance, operations improvement, system and facility affiliation analyses, strategic direction setting, governance analysis and physician/hospital relations.
Prior to his consulting career, Mr. Grobmyer worked for more than twenty years as a hospital and system executive, spending eight years as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Allegany Health System, Inc. (St. Petersburg, Florida) and thirteen years in various capacities at St. Anthony’s Health Care Center (St. Petersburg, Florida), including President and Chief Executive Officer.
He has significant governance and interim CEO experience. He has contributed to the healthcare field through numerous articles and lectures on financial and turnaround management, governance and leadership.
Jim holds an MHA from St. Louis University and a BS in Business Administration from Christian Brothers University.
